Hi People

I am looking for a Shower Chair and after much searching on the
internet I cannot work out which one is the best.

Probably the best product I have looked at would be one called a Shower
Buddy. www.showerchairs.net.nz

This seems to be the only product that slides you in and out of the
shower and also allows the shower door to be closed. Plus it rotates.

Has anyone purchased one of these, or can you make a recommendation of
something that may be better??

Any help would be most appreciated.

My shower chair is just a straight chair with a back with drainage holes in
the seat.  You have to walk into the shower to sit in it.  Have never really
seen any other kind.

That is the kind we have.  I have seen the other kind and it is really a bit
too bulky for me.  We did just fine with the simple one.   We got it in
Walmart or someplace like that.

I would recommend one that is simply a commode on wheels. If mobility is an
issue it can be used to wheel the person around the bathroom or any other
place. Commode type is best becuase you can wash underneath without having
to get the person to stand up.
