I mean, hey-- it's not like we don't already have enough to feel blue about,
right?
So, this song may be completely superfluous.
Caveat: If you're easily moved, or emotionally fragile, you may not want to
listen to this song-- but I think it's one of the saddest, most beautiful
things I've heard about Alzheimer's. I happened to stumble across this
recently as I was searching for something else online and I have to admit
that I wept a small river while I listened to it.
The website's an amazing place; these guys are prodigious songwriters who
post their stuff so it's available to everyone, without charge or
downloading fees. A lot of it's very political in nature, but there are a
great number of other kinds of songs. Very creative stuff.
Have a listen. Sometimes-- for me, anyway-- it helps to prod myself a little
bit to let the sadness out, lest my head explode. It's therapeutic; a
cathartic experience. We all cope in different ways, eh?

Thanks for the reference, Jef. It is so sad, but so true.

Great song. ;-) Can't listen to it;but read the words. Hate it when my
Mom asks where Dad is and he died over 20 years ago.
