Well, that's what I did for a bit late this evening! LoL The lady from
home health came at about 1:00pm & then I got off to town late at 1:30
or so. She was supposed to leave at 3:30. So I got in a rush. Drove to
town, mailed a letter at the post office, picked up my little cigars at
the tobacco shop, got Mom's meds at another store, picked up a sack of
feed for the birds at still another store across town and then the
grocery shopping. And it was already nearly 3am by then!

Got home about 3:45pm and saw one of my sisters was there. Scared me at
first as Mom was sick Monday with one bout of throwing up and 3 or more
times with diahrea. But she was doing pretty good Monday morning and
when I left for town. Was glad to see she was still good that evening.

Not sure why Sis was there? But she started cleaning out the fridge for
me and I helped some on that and then went on and ate the soup my
cousin, the home health care lady, had made.

Cousin left and then Sis left about 5:30am. Mom was hyper;but I finally
got here to slow down and eat some of the soup. Then she wanted to go
"home". Nothing I could do would persuade her that we were already home
and I just wanted to stick my feet up in my recliner and read the paper!
LoL But Mom kept on about wanting to go home. And asking why I had left
her etc? Why couldn't Sis have took her home, etc? I finally couldn't
take it anymore, knew the doors were locked,so I just told Mom I had to
go to the bathroom and took my paper with me!:-) Stayed in there maybe
15-20 minutes reading the paper. LoL Thought Mom might have forgotten
about going "nome" by then;but when I came out the first thing she
mentioned was going home! The good part is she only mentioned it that
one or two times more and seemed to forget about it as I talked her into
going to bed. Know she was give out.

She's calmed down a lot tonight, slept off and on and only asked about
going "home" or to her Mom's 3 or so times. Told her we couldn't go to
her Mom's tonight and she said maybe tomorrow? I was yawning then and
just yawned a bit bigger so as to give myself time to think up an answer
to that :-) and she didn't ask again!

Gave her,her meds awhile back and now she's back to sleep. Glad things
got a little quieter & calmer after dark! LoL I may or may not stay up a
bit more? Kinda like to though when things are so peaceful and calm.

I sometimes just lock everything up really well and go into the backyard and
sit in my hammock swing.
This must be a Texas thing.

It just may be! LoL

And I do like your idea of a hammock swing! :-)

I used to have a swing out back that would hold 3 adults. Need to get
another one this year or else build one. Have also thought about getting
a nice outdoor chair, the kind I can lay down in! Now that sounds good
to me! LoL

Spent a good bit of time outside today when the home health lady came
for 3 hours. Wasn't always so pleasant though as it was cool-48-52°-a
little bit of northerly wind & damp with just a drop or so of rain now
and then. But I did spend a good bit of time outside burning trash &
feeding and watering my birds.

So glad it's supposed to get to the low 60's and sunshine for us
tomorrow up here in NE Texas! :-)

Ronny:
Oh,that does sound warm! LoL I'm way up here in NE Texas,Hopkins County.
About 80 or so miles south of the Red River.

We had another nice, warm, sunshiney day up here.:-) A good bit windy at
times;but he wind was out of the south. Guess we were getting some of
that warm Valley air blown up here! LoL
Lesanne - 19 Mar 2005 13:09 GMT
It sure was blowing hard enough from here to get wherever it was going.

Wow lots of Texans here...I lived in TX in the 80s....anyway what I was
gonna say I hid in my own bathroom when mom was here and she pounded on
the door wanting to know what I was doing...reminded me of when my kids
did that when they were little....LOL
