The lady who stays with Mom 16 hours a week,Monday through Thursday,will
not be here today as it's Friday. And as much as I appreciate her coming
and the help we get,still it is sort of nice to be on our own today! LoL
One reason for that is that much of the time I think I have to be doing
something while that lady is here. :-) Going grocery shopping,washing
clothes, hanging out clothes,taking out the trash,
etc. I know! LoL And sometimes I do actually just go take a nap while
she's here! LoL And I know I should do that more often on the days I
don't have to go grocery shopping and such. It's just a hard habit to
break to think "I should" be up and doing some work if someone else is
also working in the house! LoL

So Fridays are nice too since I haven't yet completely gotten over that
idea. :-) Most times I can stay up late Thursday night if I want to. And
on Fridays I can just be sure that Mom gets fed,her meds and that her
Depends are changed and the bedding if needed. Other than that,I can
just veg out and really enjoy the day doing that! (ha) Well,other than
that and seeing that the birds and cats are also fed and watered!:-) But
if it's not really cool/cold and damp outside,then that is no big deal
and doesn't take that long. :-)

I do need to start keeping a record book of the things I need to do when
the home health care lady is here with Mom. Just simple things like
picking up this or that at the local store or where ever,so that I will
have those things I need for work around here on the days she's not
here.

Such a nice day here Thursday. :-) Low 60's and much sunshine! Supposed
to be up around 70 or so today! :-) And then low to mid 70's for a few
more days! Yeah!LoL

Well,I got what I said I liked on Fridays-
just me and Mom here. :-) But then I also tried to get a nap yesterday
evening and that was a no go! I would go to sleep or nearly get there
and Mom would be back in my room wanting me to get up and come in the
front/living room where her beds at. So after about 12 times of that I
gave it up and got up. Got mad,went outside and fooled with the birds.
Came back a good bit later on,fed Mom and gave her a benedryl so that
she would quieten down and get some sleep. Took a good while for that to
happen and I finally got to sleep somewhere after 7pm. Woke up after 1am
and that's why I'm posting here in the middle of the night! LoL

Just got Mom changed,a dry sheet on her bed and a blanket. Turned the
heater up a bit too as it was somewhat chilly in here in the middle of
the night! (ha) Mom's gotten back to sleep now.

Have my WebTV unit here on a rolling computer desk with a pull out ledge
for my keyboard. See my little cat Trouble has climbed up the back of
this desk,onto that ledge and is watching me as I type!:-) And the good
part,so far,is that he's not grabbing at my hands as I type! LoL Well, I
just had to tease him some, :-) so he pawed at me a bit! LoL
