From another newsgroup that Donnah (Donna Holt) and I frequent, I learned
she passed away last week. No other news. The poster said her family was
really overwhelmed with dealing with the details and the care of their
parents.

May she rest well and peacefully. And may there now be someone to take care
of her.

That is so sad, Adelle.

None of us know when it will be our time...... and we are always surprised
when someone passes suddenly.

I echo your sentiments and hope she has found some peace at last.

Well, Donnah did say she had a brain tumor. She had not told anyone on the
arthritis NG, but let it slip here one day about how there was no treatment
for it. My guess is that was the cause.

I just Googled her to see when she last posted. It was around a month ago
(1/14) in the "Opinions?" thread, giving support and comfort to others. I
didn't know Donnah very well, but that seems to have been her hallmark -
giving to others.

Yes, I remember urging her to tell her family about her condition.   It
isn't always a *good* thing to be that selfless.  She only had a short time
left and I hope she got some relief before she passed on.    She was a very
sweet person for what I saw of her here.

She did let me know that the kids had guessed that something else was wrong
besides the stroke and had talked with their daddy.  So they knew about the
tumor but she didn't know that they knew for a while.

Gwen, I didn't know her real well, but what I knew from here, I liked a lot.

Donnah and I have been friends for a good while, and she was really a sweet,
giving person.  I didn't know about her death and I really feel sad.
