Mom had a respiratory thing that the Doctor decided was infection
and gave us an RX for antibiotics. We just about lost her this last week.
Amazing how things you think you are ready for feel. Anyway
she had a horrible reaction to the antibiotic Again after assurances
by the Doc that it would not happen with the dose she gave.
Anyone have any experiences with antibiotics ?

Yes, but not with my mother in law.  I personally get very sick if I take penicillin.   One doctor prescribed it for me even after I said I could not take it, but I knew immediately because of the reaction.  Turned out it was penicillin under some other name.
