we introduced another caregiver while we were still present the first couple of times, then left for longer and longer times.

Ah....... Seems I asked Evelyn what was strange about her newsreader but I
think its your posts Lesanne, the replies to them dont come out right. For
example your message above doesnt have the '>' prefixing them. Try switching
html off, or aking them pure text.

Anyway, my advice is to come up with a plausible story, if one doesnt work,
try another the next time. Might be the truth, to help you because your ma
keeps waking up, if that doesnt work, maybe she is a friend staying for a
day or two, if that doesnt work, try another.

how are you doing, gwen?

i am noticeably better since the hardware was removed, though still in some
pain and still just barely able to use my hand.   the upper arm still can't
move.   hoping phys therapy helps all that.

i'm doing well evelyn.  still no pain because i'm still using this hugh
sling that doesn't let my shoulder move at all.  after another week i can
just use this one at night and use the smaller pillow sling during the day.
stitches came out thursday.
pt starts next week.  back to dr. in 4 weeks.
hope pt will get you back in top shape with your arm.  and that you will
soon be pain free.

Hello Leslie,

I guess the best thing you can do is not to worry about this. Say to your Ma it is help that you need!

I was looking for a new 24/7 help for my Dad and found a 53 year old man, very experienced. I made up my mind and had some sleepless nights, how would my farther react etc. Even the idea was strange for me. But I tried and since one week they are a couple like Walther Matthau and JacK Lemmon. My farther had his first shower since 2 years :-)) because Karl is able to handle it.

So, don`t worry too much, have a try.....

Regards
Bea
