I am thinking we will see what it does. One of the listed side effects is incontinence and frequency. Any input on that? Mom still makes the bathroom a lot of the time.

When do you that have experience give this drug, and why? I hesitate to start at bedtime in case there might be a reaction and I miss it from being asleep.

 hi lesanne,

i didn't notice any side effects because my mother in law's doctor started her with 5 mg and then upped it to 10 mg.   we felt it helped her stay continent because she was more cognisent while on the drug.   later on the incontinence issues came into play anyway simply due to the progression of the illness.
