Good morning to all...
First, let me extend sincere good wishes for the New Year. May it be a
year of peace and laughter and trust for all of us...

I am ready to smack this Dell from H*ll on it's head...along with BS
(bellsouth-my isp) and Outlook Express. Tech support appears to know
even less about computers than I do, so I am taking things into my own
hands (Oh, keep your fingers crossed!). I am once again going through
the manuals to see if I can figure out what is happening...tomorrow I
will begin the tinkering so please wish me luck and if you don't hear
from me in awhile--you'll know that I have done something I shouldn't
have and that I am looking for a 12 yo computer whiz to straighten
things out...LOL.

For computer problem solving....there are some
knowledgeable and helpful folks in the
"annexcafe.general.user2user"
newsgroup. You can access it on the annexcafe
server. The following link should set it up for you
in outlook express:

John, thank you so much!
I went and subscribed and read a Whole Lot of Posts <g>
Now, I have to work up my nerve to actually ask my questions! I think
you know of my health problem...I'm a wee bit afraid that I won't word
things correctly. It's sometimes hard for me to get across exactly
what is happening...
So, I'm going to lurk and feel more comfortable with the group, and
then I will ask away.

It's a very friendly newsgroup, I don't
think you'll have any problems getting
started.

Just introduce yourself and ask any
technical questions that you need to.

I've been a regular there for quite a while
and if it would make you more comfortable,
you are welcome to say I suggested that
you join the group.

John, thank you...
I'm intimidated by the technical knowledge of the members, plus when I
tried another forum, I was basically "laughed" out of there.
But I will take your suggestion and use your name--thank you.

Hi Donnah,

User2user is very friendly, you won't
encounter the type of abuse you found
in the other forum.
