The reason I'm posting this is the fact that my Mother was told this by a Doctor a few years ago and I wasn't sure if I believed it. Now I found this website on it. http://www.colmkelleher.com/ So-called Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease does not cause AD; however, it has been suggested for some time that CJD may masquerade as AD (a search at google will turn up plenty of free information).
