I don't know how much this strictly applies to *this* group, but
anyone caring for elders or the seriously ill that have problems
with edema might want to check out www.comfortcorner.com

i just called and asked them to stop sending catalogs to my late
mother, but i know that she appreciated their footwear made for
people like her with feet that could swell or shrink in a few
hours.  they also have a lot clothing and shoes with velcro
closures.

Dennis, I bookmarked that site...thank you! Mum does have problems
with her legs/feet (part of what they are testing are possible causes
of her edema).
And there were some items that might be useful for my Dad...he is very
crippled with his RA.
