I'd recommend having a look at the 2003 edition of "Alzheimer's Early
Stages: First Steps for Family, Friends and Caregivers" by Daniel
Kuhn.

The single best AD book I've ever seen bar none, and one that is a
must on your bookshelf if you have a loved one with AD - whether or
not you are a direct caregiver....The 36 Hour Day, by Mace and Rabin,
published by Warner.
