Dear Friends,

Here's an update of sorts---First of all, I really have outdone myself
this time on falling behind--- there are so many new people here---sorry
you have had to join our group but you have found a wonderful
place---the knowledge here is invaluable.

The last time I wrote John had decided to go off all of his
medicine---he is still off everything----Like I told him the other day,
physically he seems better, although today I noticed he seems to be
losing weight.------To quote him he he doesn't like his cooking
anymore---& mine is really bad!  Emotionally, he seems less volatile;
mentally, he seems slower.

As for me, I'm hanging in there---less patient & feeling a bit more
stressed.  My neurologist changed me from celexa to wellbutrin & has me
on lipitor.  This is after my last TIA that I told you about that had me
in the ER.  I have been here before though & think what I am going
through now is just caregiver's depression & stress----

John started reading the newsgroup again---don't know if he still is or
not---a hi from all of you will be appreciated although he may not respond.

Another having been there, done that---our friends in Florida are
undoubtedly off-line---they need all of our thoughts, prayers, &
support.  Hurricanes are bad enough, but the recovery is just as bad,
maybe worse.  Hopefully, when our Florida friends are back on-line, they
will be able to tell us they were among the "lucky ones".

I hate to say this again, but could those of you who are "old-timers"
give me an update on your LO's.

Always,

Char

Char, glad to hear from you and John.  John, if you're reading the
newsgroup, I just want to say hello and hope you are feeling good.  We
really like to hear from you and know how you are doing.

Hi Char!

So nice to see you posting again.  I didn't recognize you at first since you
are using the whole name!

Ida is now in a nursing home, and she is doing well.   The good part is that
she is only 7 miles from our house, an easy ride over there, so we get to
see her often.   She still recognizes me and Peter too, but she isn't
walking much, since she needs to be guided so closely when she does walk.  A
strange mixture of sadness and relief, is the only way I can describe it.

Best Regards to you and John!
