... to everyone on this group.
My father passed away peacefully on saturday afternoon after a very
tormented final 2 years with this disease.
I have not posted for sometime now but have taken some comfort in what has
been posted, safe in the knowledge that there are many many caring people
out there with a relative or friend with alzheimers and that I was not alone
in my grief.
As I will be leaving the group now for good, I wish all of you, your
relatives and friends, my best wishes for the future and the hope that the
kind people on this group will continue to give the advice, reassurance and
peace of mind that I have received from it, to others, for many many years
to come.
Kindest of regards,
Tim Naylor

Dear Tim,
My condolences on the loss of your father.
Please consider staying around. There are new people being diagnosed with
this illness every day. If we, who have already been in that position,
don't help them, it will be harder. If you have been helped here, then
"Pay it Forward"..

Tim, my sympathy on the loss of your dad. However, I hope you can take
comfort in the fact that he is out of the confusion and lostness he was in
during the AD. May good memories soon pass the bad ones.

Oh, Tim, you are never alone in your grief here--we understood your
grief during your dad's illness, and we understand it now with his
passing. May your memories of him bring you comfort and peace. Kind
regards to you at this difficult time. Lynn
