I appreciate Adelle posting about my medical problems.  I've also had
computer problems. I finally got my computer working again, and then
find that I can't
post to the NG through Outlook Express.  I get the NG and read what
everybody else writes, but my posts are floating around somewhere in
space!  So, as bad as I hate to do so, I am posting through Google.
Knology has been working on it, supposedly, for three days, and I'm
still waiting.
My medical condition is still being worked on also.  When I went back
to the cardiologist last week, he still could her a crackle in my left
lung.  His office called to make an appt with a pulmonary specialist
and got one for August 31st.  Meanwhile at PT I was having a hard
time, having to sit down frequently to catch my breath and rest.
Friday, my therapist made me lie down and she called the
cardiologist's office and told the nurse that I had to see
the specialist sooner than that; that she was very concerned about me.
It was too late Friday to get anything done and Monday the cardio &
nurse were at the hospital.  But last night (Tuesday) at 5 PM Dr.
Saliski's office called me to be at his office at 10:45 this morning;
my cardiologist had run into him at the hospital and they had talked
about me.
Dr. Saliski had the report from CAT scan done last Thursday, and it
said there
was non-specific interstitial disease throughout the lungs.  So I am
now scheduled for a PET Scan Monday at 9:00 AM, and possibly a biopsy
after that.
Also Dr. S. will have the film from the CAT Scan to look at himself.
He is to let me know Tuesday wha steps we take next.
