My PET scan did not indicate any inflamation in my lungs, sed rate was
normal and ANA did not indicate lupus.
He called what I have something I can't remember, said it is rare but that
is what it is. He gave me a choice of going on as I am, with resting as I
need to, or to go on 20 mg prednisone daily for 6 weeks. Considering my
medical history of ulcer and IBS, he warned of the side effects (of which I
am aware) so I decided for the time being to go on with taking rests as
needed. He will follow in 3 months with another CT scan and breathing tests
to see what changes have developed. If I decide I want to take the pred, I
can let him know.

Dear Gwen,
Thanks for updating us, and I am so glad you are posting again.
Sounds like you have made a sound decision.
From what I know prednisone is a difficult drug.
I know a lady who took it and it killed the tips of her hip bones.
She had to get replacements. Scary stuff.

Gwen, I am glad you had no inflamation in your lungs. I hope the pred does
the trick to get you to breathing better again.
Oh sorry I just read the part about you doing it witih no pred. I hope the
rest is enough to stop it.
I hope your next ct comes back ok too
