A not unexpected result, given how Google searches when given several
words, some of them quite common.

I am not sure why Jan thinks we needed to know this, but I am guessing
that it has something to do with Dr Russell Blaylock who is described
almost universally as working at the "Medical University of
Mississippi", a place which does not exist.

Results 11 - 20 of about 621 for "medical university of mississippi".
(0.37 seconds)

Now I will do a search within that result for a name.

Results 1 - 10 of about 611 for "medical university of mississippi"
blaylock. (0.57 seconds)

So, we have ten pages indexed by Google which talk about the "Medical
University of Mississippi" but do not also mention Dr Blaylock. Those
which I looked at all had a comma after "Medical", that is, the phrase
was "Medical, University of Mississippi".

So, Dr Blaylock is the only doctor to ever have worked at the "Medical
University of Mississippi", and every mention of it on the Internet
also mentions him.

Perhaps the "Medical University of Mississippi" library didn't have
the latest journals showing the dangers of smoking and that is why Dr
Blaylock let his brother die and afterwards, realising that as a
doctor he should have been able to do something, turned the blame on
all the other doctors who were not his brother's close relative.

Is that different than:

Blaylock claimed he was on staff at the *Medical University of Mississippi*

Comon, Peter, you wouldn't want to correct another *gang* member, correct?

Russell L. Blaylock, MD - Biography

Dr. Blaylock is a board certified neurosurgeon engaged in a private
neurosurgical practice for the past 21 years. During this time he has had a
strong interest in nutritional treatment of neurological disorders and in the
biochemical basis of diseases of the nervous system. ADD and ADHD have been a
part of his interest because of the relationship to the excitotoxic process. In
1994 he wrote a book on this subject, Excitotoxins, The Taste That Kills, and
revised and updated it in 1998. He has written and illustrated three chapters
in medical textbooks and a patient care booklet on multiple sclerosis. In
addition he has published several papers in peer reviewed journals on a variety
of subjects from the pathology and treatment of pituitary tumors to
immunothearpy of brain tumors. He has appeared on the 700 Club approximately 7
times, Life Style Magazine once, and 30 plus syndicated radio programs
discussing the book. While he does not treat ADD in his practice, he has given
advice to a number of mothers and have found that a significant number improve
and some quite dramatically.

Blaylock claimed he was on staff at the *Medical University of Mississippi*
which is NOT the same a the University of Mississippi Medical Center, etc.

It does not exist.

A Google search of the net, not in groups, finds only referenced to
*Medical, University of Mississippi* which is not what he claimed.

BTW, in my checking this again, for the millionth time, I found a reference
to Blaylock at Belhaven college:

http://www.belhaven.edu/Academics/Divisions/Science/Biology/seminars.htm

He gave an hour and a half lecture to nursing students on September 16,
November 11, and November 18, 2004.

So, based on this finding, my prior comments regarding his lack of
affiliation with Belhaven are withdrawn.

Comment: Belhaven has a lousy search engine.

Well, had you read my posts, you would have seen it rather than that millionth
amount of checking time!!!!!

Drum rolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

Dr. Blaylock was born in Monroe, Louisiana and attended Louisiana State
University for his undergraduate studies in biochemistry and zoology. Received
his doctorate of medicine degree from Louisiana State University School of
Medicine, after which he completed a straight surgical internship at the
Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his neurosurgical residency
at the same university, as well as a year as a teaching fellow. He was board
certified in 1980.

For 26 years he practiced neurosurgery in High Point, North Carolina and
Jackson, Mississippi. He is now retired from active practice and serves as a
visiting professor of biology in the Belhaven College Biology Department.

Now do back up you claim and show us where HE claimed he was on staff at
*Medical Unversity of Mississippi*

Which is sooooooooooooooo very much different than:

>University of Mississippi Medical Center

ROTFLOL.

Sometimes it is better to keep quiet and have others suspect that you are a
fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt". ..

I note that this thread is a bit dated..but an update:  He's still trying to
flog a newsletter..  Recent email gives link to:

https://www.newsmaxstore.com/newsletters/blaylock/offer13.cfm

In which the "Blayock Wellness Report" is flogged.. undoubtedly for a
significant sum.  (I didn't bother to look).  Amazing..  One would think that
even a half-baked scam would manage to come up with a more legimate sounding
name for a uni than "Medical..etc"..

I suspected that it was a 'come on' as you yanks say.. but a Copernic search
showed up this site to confirm my suspicions.. Ah well..i guess we'll all
have to live with our hypertension..   Cheers..
