The Greatest Compliment Ever Given

Thread view:

Rick James-Drew - 27 Oct 2004 16:54 GMT
As a healthcare professional, I have received quite a few compliments over the
past 6 years.  Sometimes, these compliments come from the family or friends of
a patient, though usually, they come from the patients themselves.  It is nice
to be complimented by someone who has Actual, Personal experience with you &
your techniques.

Yet, there is a far greater compliment than can be given by one's patients.
This compliment is of a far higher magnitude than anyone can be expressed as
gratitude.  This compliment comes from the least of our brethren, those who are
least able to give accurate assessments or feedback, and it is phrased as a
insult.

Whenever Jan, Ilena, or Anth express pity for my patients, my heart glows and
my smile beams with pride.  Truly, nothing could be more indicative of
competency and ethical treatment than earning the contempt of those bigoted,
anti-vaccination, anti-doctor, and anti-science cretins.

Yes, I feel honored to be "slurred" amongst fine physicians such as Orac &
Peter Moran.  (It would mean even more if a level-headed individual proclaimed
me to be of their "ilk")  When I hear Paranoid Ilena, head of a fully staffed
mail box & defunct support group, express rage, I know I've confronted her with
the truth.  When I hear Somatizing Paranoids like Jan Drew use religious
bigotry against me, I know she has no valid complaint with me.  When I hear
Anth tell me he spends his time away from the toilet throwing darts at my
picture, planning to kill me, I chuckle heartily.

So, if you anti-science, paranoid bigots wish to stroke my ego, please carry
on.  Otherwise, you might want to do something with your lives other than
flatter your opponents with your self-disgust.

Paranoid?

You mean like I believe that Quack Stephen Barrett who SLAPP sued me
and LOST all Appeals and whose  Ragtag Posse spends inordinate amounts
of time and energy stalking my internet life, stalking my personal
life ... is out to harm me?

You mean the FACT that his attorney (who also lost to me in the same
SLAPP suit) ... has claimed that Stephen Barrett ... has all of his
"income protected" ... implying he may attempt to avoid paying the
Court Mandated SLAPP fees of my attorney that have been awarded to me?

He, who has a pattern of trashing those he is suing  ... via his
network of Healthfraud members ... even if the Defendant paid him off
... he continues to have the Healthfraud Team defame and insult this
fine doctor?

Why would I think he is out to harm me??

My use of a office / mailbox drop to receive Foundation mail is no
different that the Quack using a PO Box, except that PO Boxes don't
provide the services that a fully staffed mailbox drop does.

It's excellent to see Andy here use so many of their enemies names as
aliases ...

Impersonating others for fraudulent purposes ... is a crime.

Yes, I do mean like YOU.  You remember your oh-so telling rant from yesterday?

"who writes the Snopes and Urban Legends sites????? And who funds
them?"

Were you expecting Karl "FN" Rove?  How about James "FN" Randi?  Maybe you were
thinking it was "W" hissef [sic]?

Uh, it is illegal for you as was repeatedly cited here.  Perhaps that is one of
the many reasons you are on the lam.

With stalking wackos in Drag  posting anything they can find out about
me ...  and making up way more ... you bet I don't want you Quacks
stalking me in person.

Teddy and Terry are both obsessed with this too ... like I'd rather be
in Baltimore than San Diego or Costa Rica ...  LOL LOL

You are quite right in what you say. A private mail drop, as you use, offers
more services than one run by the USPS.

One of these services is a greater degree of annonymity. Anyone can go into
the proviate mail drop store and, for a few cash dollars, open a mail drop.
They often do this without providing any proof of identification, or a
street address.

You cannot do this in a USPS post office.
Ilena Rose - 27 Oct 2004 22:30 GMT
Why would you lie again, in front of God and everyone Probert?

There are laws about private mailboxes ... and what you are stating is
absolutely false ... (LOL ... we should be surprised ???)

You must have slept thru this part in law school.

Thank God they don't let you "practice" law anymore.

Well, things have changed since the last time I checked. I did call my local
UPS store and was told that they do have to have your home address to pen a
mail drop box.

However, unlike the USPS, which is required to provide your home address
upon proper justification (see
http://www.ntpsa.net/Forms/Postal%20Order%2022018.htm) a private mail drop
is not. Their contract provides that they maintain confidentiality of your
home address unless it is subpoenaed.

Thus, they do provide a higher degree of annonymity than a USPS mail box.

Take for example a cancer quack - the patient has a remission - "Wow you are
great look you cured my cancer"
3 weeks later the patient disappears off record and is another cancer
statistic, of course they count as cured.

Llsa you claim to be a 'professional ' and in healthcare and yet you cannot
produce one scrap of evidence to say your therapy works?
You might be able to sit down and have a chat with people, maybe that's what
you should aim to do, counselling?

Like you who, who claims to have been to university and display an ignorance
with S.I. numbers?

To my knowledge I have _never_ slurred Peter Moran, I find Peter to be a
gentleman and a good source of debate, and let it be known also I find Orac
(although he's a pain in the arse)
a good source of debate also..

How am I anti-science?
Just look at yourself, you are impersonating Jan's husband, just to piss her
off, you might call that level headed, I would call that childish.

No, from my fellow pharma-shills, on how much money our Pharma-Stocks &
Pharm-0-1 K retirement plans are worth.

Now, try to follow along within the CONTEXT of my previous post.  I do believe
you can do it, old boy, even if your command of English is a bit subpar.

You accuse them of being part of a global conspiracy to poison, defraud, and
extort money from Cancer patients, but you don't think you've slurred them?
Perhaps you need to work on your English.

As for Jan & Ilena, they most definetly slur them, without just cause, I might
add.

I hope you're just trying to be ironic here.  You have expressed more
scientific ignorance than any COHERENT MHA poster this year.

No, Anth.  You misunderstand.  You probably don't get the hilarious "Dave
Chappelle" show in the UK....yet.   What I do is an homage to his famous "Rick
James" skit.  Watch the show and see.

By the way, Jan calls people "jew boy" and you don't find that offensive nor
childish.  Perhaps that is because your anti-science bigotry isn't the only
bigotry in your heart, Monkey Boy.

Go back to throwing darts at my picture.  Use a picture of Sean Connery  if you
don't have a current pic of me.
