SCANNERS & SECRET FREQUENCIES PP033
by Henry L. Eisenson
This wry, cynical and immensely entertaining book describes the
scanner world, the people in it, the equipment they use and how they
acquire and tune in to the "secret" frequencies and listen to all
kinds of supposedly private communications. Top radio clubs and
experts have hailed this book as "absolutely the best" and "an
indispensable tool." 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, softcover, photos, illus., 320 pp.
Price: $26.95 PP033

~~~~~~~~~
And you left all your important work to tell the world how useless I
am ... and how dangerous Jan Drew is ... while spreading the
Quackwatch Propaganda and yet you have no relationship whatsoever with
Barrett or any of the other Quacks?
Is that your story Henry?
You claimed you were not from San Diego ... but you are ... and your
name is not Pennell as you claimed ...
I didn't remember saying anything about principles, so I went back and
looked at the message I wrote which Jan was quoting. She exceeded even
her own nadiric standards of selective snipping by extracting a string
of letters out of a longer string, not just removing whole words. Here
is what I said:
Perhaps I should use Jan's method on Jan's message. That way I could
make it say:
Peter Bowditch
prince
king
Now Henry is claiming to have sent me an email as "Henry (Hank)
Pennell" ... although last nite I received another one claiming that
they are different people ...
Further ... he is doing a "Marla" Probert ... claiming to be "stalked"
when he forgets that he decided to target me ... not the other way
around.
Yup ... When someone starts lying about and interrogating me ... I DO
want to know and will research who it is ... now that he has lied
about several things ... including living in San DIego ... while
advertising the Quacks ... he too is very suspect and I will get to
the bottom of why he has gone to the trouble of lying about me and
interrogating me.
Here are his posts with his demands of me ...
Henry ... you were the one stalking my life ... not verse vica ... do
you really want to sound as stupid as failed attorney Probert?
You just made assumptions as to whom you were talking.
But now you're showing some interesting OCD as an online stalker.
My personal problem is less sugar than fat. Since diagnosis I've lost
a
lot of weight (was 210, once 170)), but lately I see it creeping back
up
(now 180). There are several of us here in my little support group
with
almost precisely the same problem.
If you're in any of test market cities for Olestra snack products,
we'd
really appreciate your help. We'd like you to purchase a modest
quantity
(a case?) of the Doritos, and/or the Pringles chips, and ship them to
us
here in San Diego.
We'll provide the container, and a UPS call tag -- or whatever
mechanism
is most convenient for you to get the product to us.
In advance, thanks. Can we reciprocate with San Diego/Mexico salsas or
peppers?
There is no such thing as a "suppressed cure." If it is possible to
demonstrate efficacy and safety to the tough standards of the FDA, a new
therapeutic approach WILL reach the patient base. That it takes more
time in the U.S. than in more lax countries is a welcome reality, made
necessary by the many half-baked, even dangerous, therapeutic and
diagnostic "innovations" that fill the processing channels.
Suppressed cures are kept with the 100 mpg carburetors, hidden in those
guarded caves in Areas 1-50.
First, it's been a discussion, not an argument.
The thread is not due to "shared experience," but to spurious, unfounded claims
-
mostly yours.
Your assertion that you can do the impossible makes you either a liar,
delusional,
or a fool.
Of  those three possibilities, I think you'll discover that being a fool is
easiest
to "cure." Just keep your mouth shut unless you're on safe ground. To you
facts,
science, and truth are obviously threatening.
Now let's get out of this fist-fight and back to alternative medicine.
I won't throw any more rocks if you stop claiming you can teleport, or
whatever.
That was just to get your attention. Without trace quantities of the
materials in Nutrasweet, our brains apparently shift to missionary
status and we seek to proselytize everyone in sight or hearing.
********************************************************************
Haven't we sifted through enough of this? The FDA is staffed with a
bunch of reasonably smart working stiffs, and is simply not corrupt.
No one has presented compelling statistical or scientifically
defensible data to support this witch hunt. The data presented by the
Betty Martinis wouldn't stand up in a master's thesis.
Moi? nope. I have posted sound proof that none of the claims by the
anti-aspartamistas are valid. Can YOU prove them? Of course you cannot,
since you will not even try.
Instead, you will make up webapges and try to trash anyone who disagrees
with you, or takes your rotten, stalking, harassing behavior to task.
Once again, thanks for proving me correct in advance. You are so easy and so
predictable.
And, you are intellectually bankrupt and your reality check is vulcanized.
NEW PRIVATE HIV TEST
Introtech is considering the support and distribution of a new HIV
test,
designed for personal use by the consumer, in private. The test is
simple and fast. Results appear in a few minutes, and accuracy is at
least on a par with current lab screening protocols. The test is
packaged as a complete, self-contained one-time kit.
WE ARE NOT YET OFFERING THE KIT FOR SALE, but seek your input
regarding
the following:
1. Does an end-user price near $20 seem reasonable? Considering the
fact
that privacy distinguishes this product from other tests, is price
really a sensitive issue?
2. What does a conventional HIV test cost
     at a lab?
     at a specialized HIV test facility?
     from a public service group?
3. We assume that the majority of at-risk populations DO "want to
know."
Are we correct?
4. What "alternate" channels of distribution are available?
5. Can this product be successfully sold via mail order from
international Internet pharmacies?
6. What support groups or organizations should we survey as we assess
this project?
7. On which newsgroups (not listed above) should this announcement and
solicitation of opinion appear?
8. Which mailing lists should we address as we seek answers to support
our decision?
**********************************************************************
    We welcome your comments whether or not we asked the question.
    Please do not take offense at the newsgroups to which this was
    sent. We admit ignorance, and welcome your corrections.
    TO US THIS SEEMS LIKE THE RIGHT THING TO DO, BUT WE'RE A TINY
    COMPANY AND THIS IS A HUGE COMMITMENT, SO WE SINCERELY SOLICIT
YOUR
    INPUT AND HOPE YOU'LL HELP US AVOID ERRORS.
I lost my hearing at an indoor firing range, despite range-recommended
hearing protectors, etc.
After two months of misery, this afternoon I will be fitted with
almost
$6k worth of aids. Hopefully, this will restore face-to-face
communication.
The range, however, was quite cavalier when I recommended a change to
the rules and equipment.
I've decided to sue, at least to recover the cost of ongoing hearing
aids...
Does anyone here have experience with such lawsuits? Though age 58,
I've
never sued (or been sued), hence don't know much about the process.
