What kind of cyst?  Keep in mind that the common sebaceous
cyst is the scar-tissue remains of a blocked sebaceous
gland that got backed up, infected, etc.

The original problem is almost always long gone, the scar
tissue remains.  Given enough time, it might thin on its
own -- but do you want to wait that long?

Yes it is a sebaceous cyst ( that was what the doctor said) I am not in a
real hurry as it is not protutruded outside the hair yet, however it would
be nice to get rid of it.

Both $HERSELF and I have had sebaceous cysts on the backs of
our necks long before we even met.  After a few years of having
collars rub them, we each decided to get rid of the stupid
things.  Again, in both cases it was a simple office procedure
with no complications.

HTH.  YMMV.  HAND.
