his work was funded by the US Army Medical Research ; ALUMINUM ADJUVANT LINKED TO GULF WAR SYNDROME INDUCES MOTOR NEURON DEATH IN MICE According to a nationwide study by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, deployed veterans of the Persian Gulf War are more than twice as likely to develop ALS than non-deployed veterans and the civilian population (Samson, 2002). GWS can be partially classified as a neurological illness that may carry an ALS component. Gulf War Syndrome (GWS) affects a high percentage of veterans of the 1991 conflict, but its origins remain unknown. One neurological complication of GWS is an increased incidence of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). While many environmental factors have been linked to GWS, the role of the anthrax vaccine administered to deployed troops has come under increasing scrutiny. Human tissues have a natural concentration of aluminum of about 130 micrograms per kg, so your ordinary 70 kg soldier already has something like 9000 micrograms of aluminum in his body. Which means that all prior tests of thimerosal *did* test the combination. Perhaps more to the point, the vastly greater uses of mercury compounds in the 1940s would, combined with the natural amounts of aluminum in tissues, have produced the same results as the smaller amounts used today. It's everywhere in Nature; it's the third most common element on Earth. How does the relatively rare (and much more reactive) silver get your approval but not the common and inert aluminum? (Silly question, of course: silver is sold as "alternative" and aluminum is in vaccines. It therefore follows that one is "good" and the other "bad.") It must serve some purpose; breast milk contains about 40 micrograms per liter. This work has been done. Check Dr. Boyd Haley's research. His work showed that thimerosal at a 1% LD ( that dose that would kill 1 % of the test animals, adminerstered with a 1% LD of aluminum resulted in all the test aniimals dying. Rememer that aluminum is added in vaccines as an adjuvent, something that will "heighten" the bodies response to being poisoned. Apparently, it does just that.
