I honestly don't know why Ilena paints herself into the corner like
she does.

The facts surrounding my changing course with Ilena began during the
time I was a member of Ilena's small grouplet list (about 12 or so
women).  I had written a statement for Ilena to take into the courts
to use in her trial against Patrick O'Leary.  Ilena has posted that
statement several times, including to my shock that she posted it here
on ASBI before she ever took it into the courts!

However, I continued to believe for some time, that Ilena was doing
the right thing in pursuing the case against Patrick O'Leary.

During the Grouplet days, Ilena would often pop in and highly
encourage us to come to this board and help defend her in her battles
against others.  I had for many years been absent from this board, and
actually didn't realize how badly things were out of control here with
Ilena's behavior.  Finally, I paid this newsgroup a visit, after one
of Ilena's
more compelling requests.  What I witnessed, and a few others
witnessed going on here, was enough for several of grouplet members,
including myself, trying to persuade Ilena to not continue battling in
the manner she was.

We suggested a Newsgroup Disclosure Statement be posted by her
everytime someone started to battle.  It was all to no-avail, and she
became more virulent, than ever before!

It was then, that I began to seriously question the motivation of
Ilena's actions here and elsewhere.  And to question the agenda she
was on, which was horribly damaging the credibility and image of those
harmed by breast implants. . .Think about it folks, if an "advocate"
of those made ill by breast implants, is acting the idiot, speaking
without responsibility about people, and incapable of telling the
truth - then how much credibility can those harmed by breast implants
have.

If the self-proclaimed advocate is flirting and pimping herself to the
President of McGhan or buddying up to an attorney for the breast
implant manufacturer, Bristol Meyers, how much can she REALLY be on
our side???

These are serious things to ponder, if you are women in our shoes???
However, if you aren't in our shoes (which Ilena isn't), then you can
do most any irresponsible things you like!  And if the heat gets too
much for you legally, you can simply jump the border, and hide in the
Costa Rican folliage where they don't have a treaty of extradition
with
the United States!

Myrl Jeffcoat, speaking about herself and naming my name makes this
self revealing statement:

"Yep folks, it's all about Ilena Rosenthal.  And her ability to turn a
buck or two - Always has been, always will be!"

I am posting about something that has nothing to do with me
personally. I realize that in your Patrick O'leary supporting brain
... you are used to people around you who have made millions and
millions from selling faulty breast implants.

It's not me ... but your rants about me tell everything about YOU,
Will Ketcher!

Unlike you ... I have advocated for women harmed by breast implants
for 13 years ... and I have never aligned myself with silicone
manufacturers and med device shills like you have.

YOU, Myrl Jeffcoat, have modeled exactly Susan Schaezler ... it's as
if you took every trick she turned, including her connection with
O'leary, and copied them exactly.

Because you continue with your attacks on me and want to re-write your
losers history ... I will provide your own words, before you copied
Schaezler's actions exactly. YOU became HER. She use to talk in
plurals when it was about her and then president of Inamed, O'leary.

The purpose of this letter is to document certain experiences I have
had on-line with Susan Schaezler, "Mplnt" and other entities.

In late 1995 I went on-line actively seeking information about the
status of breast implant litigation.  In June 1995 Dow Corning had
declared bankruptcy and thrown approximately 144,000 breast implant
victims into litigation limbo, who were to be part of the Global Class
Action settlement.

I noted from the very beginning on the AOL Breast Implant Forum that
Susan Schaezler and the entity known as "Mplnt" were present, as well
as others that appeared to be very disruptive and insulting to implant
victims.  I had complained to Susan Schaezler, I didn't understand why
a breast implant victim would be siding with an obvious pro-implant
person to berate other victims.

Susan Schaezler had stated it was not her, but someone else, who was
hijacking her identity and creating the disruption.  I accepted her at
her word, and we talked for a brief time (few days) about beginning a
newslist, to create privacy for genuine implant victims, to give them
safe harbor from the AOL board disruption.

While we were discussing it, she went ahead on her own and set it up,
and instituted strenuous rules, regulations, and absolute control over
membership.  I was one of the "charter" members of BIS, and was there
from the very beginning. Imagine my dismay when I discovered that
"Mplnt" (one of the major disrupters of the AOL board) was also there,
as a Susan Schaezler invited member.

Shortly after Susan Schaezler began BIS, she solicited from the
membership an invitiation for us to all openly share our real names,
addresses, phone numbers, etc.  The suggestion from her, was that we
ought to all feel comfortable enough with each other, and could do
that.

I was one of the implant victims who did share my personal information
openly on that list, and "Mplnt" was on the newslist and in the e-mail
address when it occurred.  Susan had always boasted that she knew the
true identity of "Mplnt" and he was definitely not manufacturer
related.  She always suggested that he was a doctor knowledgeable
about silicone issues, but did not believe our illnesses were caused
by silicone.

A brief amount of time went by (a few months), when an altercation
arose on
the BIS newslist.  It involved the presenting of a theory presented by
"Mplnt" that was very controversial to one of our more knowledgeable
implant victim members, Sue Lyons.  Ultimately Sue was kicked off of
BIS, because Sue had used an expletive in her response to "Mplnt" on
BIS. Susan Schaezler immediately removed her from BIS, using the
expletive as the reason.

It was because of Sue Lyon's removal, that I immediately began WIS
(Women's Implant Support) with a nucleous of 9 women to keep Sue Lyons
company.

Although we do not correspond now, Sue Lyons was the catalyst for my
forming WIS (now a membership of 400 or so individuals). I stayed on
BIS after Sue Lyons was kicked off for a time, but then the control
issues from Susan Schaezler again raised their ugly head with another
member (Angela Hans). This time, I unsubscribed.  I didn't wish to
deal with the disruption any longer.

"Mplnt" has been in our midst (breast implant forums, etc.) for many
years. Susan Schaezler and he have always appeared to be joined at the
hip.

Imagine my distress, when some 4 years later, I learned that "Mplnt"
was none other than Patrick O'Leary (President of McGhan - Scotland).
Even more distressing was the fact that I am a McGhan/3M victim.

Gee Ilena - I was certain that you had overly expensive legal counsel,
who were looking out for the interests of internet giants, and ISPs.
That they came to your aid, in order to protect their own business
interests - third party vulnerability and all.  How does Mark
Goldowitz feel about your claiming that "you" defended yourself
successfully???  Bottom line, I think you have performed enough first
party libel, that had you been litigated for a bit of it, you wouldn't
have stood a snow ball's chance in hell of prevailing.

I also note that you fail to mention your previous loss in your $100
Million dollar lawsuit against AOL, an implant victim, and Patrick
O'Leary.  You remember the case - You lost.  The defendants attorney
fees were awarded, but you have refused to pay.

Ilena - If your support group continues to thrive so well, why aren't
they all contributing and supporting each other on ASBI.  Do you
realize that about the only breast implant women, who ever post there
are Coleah, Pam, myself, sometimes Ruby?  And you are at war with most
of us - if not all of us!

Millions and millions of people "may" benefit from the overturning of
Daubert Ilena.  Even "YOU" as you state.  However, it is a travesty
that you think that it is OK for the breast implant women to have the
CBT fund ripped off, to foot the bill for it (unbeknownst to breast
implant women).  YOU are not a breast implant woman.
