Ted Kennedy

bachcole - 19 May 2008 20:09 GMT Doctors were examining Ted Kennedy today at Mass. General Hospital to see why he had a seizure a few days ago. Gee, I do not have a medical degree and I am about 2000 miles away, but I know exactly why he had a seizure and why he will continue to have seizures, strokes, and many other health problems. He is a fat, drunken pig who has never spent five minutes taking care of himself. That is why he had a seizure.
Let's see...
Fat, drunken pig
Fat lush
drunken tub of lard
The only sad thing here is (1) his stupidity at not taking care of himself, and (2) he will probably die before he has a chance to repent for his behavior at Chappaquiddick.
You may think that he has had a wonderful and productive life. Perhaps, but like the rest of us, he has a lot to repent for, including but not limited to Chappaquiddick.
Vern Nance - 19 May 2008 22:27 GMT Don't "sugar coat" it Roger, how do you really feel about Teddy?

It makes you fat and dumb.

Here is a repentence, sort of. I was a little surprised and a little repentent that his problem was so far away from the direct causations of no-exercise, drinking alcohol, and having a serious problem with his conscience. However, I am betting that every little bit helps everything. I go by that principal. Every little health habit helps everything, even if sometimes it is not enough. And even if it doesn't show up on someone's statistical analysis.
I thought that this topic had fallen off the end of everyone's interest, that is why I did not respond to his diagnosis.
But I will say it again. If he had not been drinking alcohol heavily for at least 60 years, and if he had taken the time to take care of himself, and if he had a clearer conscience, then I doubt if his tumor would have developed. The body is a unit; it is not just a bunch of parts.

Charming, but no different from what I'd expected.
There are no known environmental risk factors for glioma, so your blaming it on his habits is sheer wild-eyed speculation and holier- than-thou finger pointing, nothing more.

Ohh, David used a big or obscure word: glioma I guess David does not ascribe to the axiom that everything effects everything else and that a lifetime of booze, womanizing, cowardice, obesity and etc. will not seriously damage a person's ability to fight off cancer.
Yes, I blame the victim. Being a victim means living next to a nuclear power plant operated by Goofy. Any rich person who gets sick almost always (but not always) is a "victim" of their own irresponsibility and short-sightedness. I am so tired of people saying, "I got ...blah, blah", as though it were some kind of parasite that they caught, when most of the time it is a state they got themselves into because they did not take care of themselves.

So if you get sick, I hope you'll be quick to announce that it was all your own fault. Unless you're claiming that you're poor, and therefore nothing is your fault.

By the way, you haven't revealed which type of Republican you are. Are you a millionaire or a sucker?

I am neither. I would be ashamed of myself if I could be put in a catagory, besides the empty-skull catagory, of course.
If people are not responsible for their own health, then who is it that is going to make them healthier. The guy down the street? A doctor; surely you jest on that one. Perhaps the Easter bunny.
trigonometry1972@gmail.com | - 01 Jun 2008 07:40 GMT Let the AMA save him. He has certainly carried enough of their water thru his decades in the Senate.
Never fear for the senator as he has a great publicly funded medical care plan so he won't die poor and in the street.
