how to read the manual entries

do "man man"

how to read manual entries on adduser in "KUBUNTU LINUX"
do
"man adduser"

want to do ---------- "keyword search on user"

man -k adduser

or
man -k user

you can easily copy the terminal window to run "commands" (like your
dos prompt)
but a very powerful LINUX prompt by clicking on "K" (like Start button
in UNIX)
then Applications then System then KDE Console select (and for future
reference click right click on KDE console and select Move to Panel).

No.
I'm not a CLI junkie, I just like it for some things.
I prefer a good GUI.

Dude, this is alternative *health*, not alternative
*operating* *systems* -- but I will point out that
Konqueror does very nicely as a manpage reader;
#sort will get you the manpage for sort, for instance.

| sh.t happens.  Sometimes it happens to you. |

Or Alternately:

From the main desktop menu..

    Select System->Help & Support

    Then type adduser in the Search box in the top center of the help
    browser.
