Murray Jarvik, a psychopharmacologist who was among the first to study
the hallucinogenic drug LSD and whose later research on the physiology
and psychology of smoking was instrumental in the development of the
nicotine patch, died Thursday at his home in Santa Monica, Calif. He
was 84.
The cause was pulmonary edema from congestive heart failure, said his

Everybody dies of something, except for us health nuts...we die of
