to get back to the subject matter of alternative healthcare.   But it

that during that time, all you wanted to continue to do was chase

zero intent to try to stop with the rest of the individuals that were
working together
to try to work things out.

Last summer, (July 1998) myself and a friend were sued together by Deborah
and
Mark Lindsay ( he left Paul Revere and the Raiders as the lead singer in
January, 1975) for stating our opinions about things, namely some liner
notes,
and what Mark had stated in his own words, on liner notes, and for stating
our
opinion about the lawsuit that he has against Paul Revere that we knew
nothing
about, until we found a site on the internet that was discussing this. And
for
some stuff that is true, <that can be proven with other fan friends that are
witnesses>. And for stating our opinions about some CDs that were
remastered.
And some things we had remembered as long time fans.  His attorneys
originally
called us on July 30, 1998, and said they wanted to settle this out of
court,
for no monetary value, and a "proposal" would be forthcoming, delay tactic
after delay tactic (in my humble opinion), and now they are going to take it
to
trial in November, 1999.  His attorneys had told us that Mark Lindsay was
considered a "public figure" and we couldn't write about him in this manner.

I'm curious to find out if any other celebrities have sued people in these
newsgroups for stuff that has been written here about them in the celebrity
gossip newsgroups, that they didn't like.  And how these court cases were
decided.  I'm curious to find out if people's first amendment rights were
violated in these cases.

Does anyone have any other cases that might help my attorney, or my friend
that
cannot afford an attorney so that she can help herself? Or does anyone know
of
an attorney in Southern California that might like to "take this on for
fun?"
She is unable to work.

anyone's approval
to find out if it is okay with them or not.
