Yes, Jan, it is time for you to stop repeating what you believe is a
lie and
make it look like everyone else is lying but you.

1.  When I got tired of the he said she said we said they said crap
that has
filled these newsgroups FOREVER, I decided it was beyond time to work
together for the common good of better health---so I initiated a peace
plan.
2.  I went through the archives and found exactly what the MHA's
charter was
and posted it.  In fact I have posted it over and over.  (My apologies
to the ASBI
group as I do not know what the charter is for that group-may be
someone can post it
so one can see how far off it has become as well).
3.  I also went back and looked at the long history of unrest and
absolutely hateful
messages, and insults towards everyone, all under the guise of "free
speech."
4.  I also kept looking at the character, and wondered why there were
so many hateful
messages and insults coming from all sides, and thought it is more
than time to
bury the hatchet.  Forget the past, forgive and move forward.
5.  So I initiated the peace plan of 2008.  Many people (including
myself) started
to realize how stupid they had been with their remarks, and instead of
insulting the poster,
that they should really be responding to the post.
6.  Then I realized from emails from people I did not know, how they
wished that the
newsgroup would be a great discussion for the topics of interest, but
those engaged in long
raging battles or struggles for power they feared they would not allow
it to happen.
7.  Knowing what I know about Psychology, and Sociology, and in the
study of people,
I know it is hard for some people to accept change -- especially the
people that are "used to abuse,"
and may in fact, enjoy being abused.  Not everyone (self included)
enjoys being abused, insulted,
etc., but I also know that when one is insulted, and demeaned in front
of peers, friends, fellow board
posters, the constant need to come out swinging when someone Sunday
punches them, happens a lot of
the time.  While some may enjoy being abused, and abusing others,
people should understand that not
everyone is supportive of this type of behavior.
8.  I also know, especially for those of us that have been sick, that
there is a need to have justice served
on those that they believe have wronged us.  When one carries on that
vendetta in their own personal life
that is one thing but when it spills out and effects others this is
not pleasant for those that do not deserve it.
9.  After realizing that the bones of contention stem from websites,
and for which people have exercised
free speech about the people that they believed have "wronged them," I
started digging further into the archives,
and made the discovery that the "history," seems to be about those
that do not share the same opinions as they
do about businesses, other websites, medical and dental doctors,
treatments, alternative or conventional, and
research.
10.  We all have our own opinions about alternative therapies and
conventional treatments etc.  We also have our
own individualized opinions about non profit organizations, and those
that operate those companies, and they again,
stem from our different experiences with those businesses, and
business owners.  We are free to choose who we wish to associate with,
and who we wish not to associate with, and when one makes their own
personal choice (with no interference from anyone), who to associate
with or not to associate with, no one should jump on the bandwagon and
harass them for their decision.
11.  I see from all sides -- people accusing others of the same thing
they are very well doing themselves.  It is hard to sort out who is
right, and who is wrong from reading websites, and newsgroup
postings.  I'm not the judge, of who is right and who is wrong.
12.  In trying to increase the  peace, it was my wish for people to
stop sweating the small stuff (and all of this is indeed petty
bullshit), and get on with life.  Letting go of the old way of doing
things or seeing things -- and see the world in a different light --
bring change ----because change was absolutely needed in newsgroups
filled with hate messages, as well as websites.
13.  We also have to remember that people make mistakes, or we don't
know what really is going on in their lives at any given moment, and
they may see someone as "stalking," them, or "harassing them," when
merely it is because they do not share the same opinions about what
they are discussing or they do not approve of the way they are doing
business,
which is everyone's right to state their opinion.
14. I choose to be ethical in the way I do business, with the people
that I associate with, and when I see people drastically change and
flip a 180 -- and something rolls out of their mouth that I do not
like, that is not ethically correct,  most of the time I tell them
they are wrong, and they need to rethink their equation, if I know
that person --- if I don't know that person very well, I walk away.
As fellow humans, it is our job when we see our brother or sister
walking down the wrong path, and give them the opportunity to be
responsible by learning to forgive.

I am not giving up the hope that the webpages will find their way
down, and everyone get back to the mission of the
organization...
