Olive oil is a natural base for cosmetics that benefit the skin
topically and as it absorbs. Olive oil also treats dandruff and
restores luster to dull hair. Olive oil is an anti-inflammatory agent
used to treat and prevent rheumatism, heart disease and cancer.

I love to use Olive Oil in cooking too.  Instead of using butter to
cook a turkey, I baste the turkey
in olive oil----yummy!!

One of my favorite recipes is to bring home really fresh asparagas
from the Farmer's market on Saturday mornings.  I rinse off, leave the
stalks whole, other than nipping off the bottom portion of the stems.
Drizzle a little Olive oil, with freshly minced garlic, over the
asparagas.

Place on the broiler and broil until the asparagas stems just start to
char slightly.  It tastes wonderful.  And is really healthy!

I see fresh strawberries and asparagas from the farmer's market,
coming home with me tomorrow at 8:00 a.m.

I'm certain of it. . .Just got back into the house from driving by
there.  I took two of my grandkids up to Daffodil Hill to see the
flowers, and had breakfast at Sutter Creek.  Sloughouse is open, but
it's too early for corn.  But today they had Oranges, Apples,
Asparagras.
