Mark Thorson:

Are you the world's leading expert on Multiple Chemical
Sensitivities?  Please state the reason you have this need to post and
repost the same stuff over and over and over....

You are boring.....the titles are misleading, and you are hardly the
authority on anything, are you?

Debbee, do you have any specific criticism of the study?  Is there
something wrong with the design or controls?
If not, why do you dispute the conclusion?

Andrew, I want to hear from Mark Thorson, the poster of all of the
posts and reposts on the same
subjects over and over and over.  You know, how I have asked Ilena in
the past to stop with the
same old same old posts?  I do not want her to accuse me of being a
hypocrite...

Let Mark Thorson answer the question for himself.....

Thank you

Well, I must have missed that, but thank you for having told her that.
Ilena starts a thread and repeatedly posts the same message to that
thread as replies.
Mark doesn't do that, but he does repost many of the same studies when
the topic of MCS comes up.

At any rate, its all well and good that you want Mark to respond,
after all, he did start the thread and posted the study.
Is it wrong ask what your specific objection to this study is?  Do you
have any specific criticisms or do you simply prefer to dismiss the
conclusion?

As an alternative health care professional, since most of the
treatments for
MCS are of an alternative nature, I was thinking Andrew that you would
also
be interested in the answer to this question.  Most alternative
practitioners that
I have met generally stick pretty much together and support the entire
alternative
health care spectrum. I know you probably forgot this, but I know you
are a man
of great respect for all alternative health care professionals, and I
thank you for
allowing me to remind you.

Thank you.

I hope you were wearing hip-waders when you wrote that.

If you are asking _ME_ why Mark reposts those articles, its probably
because you didn't understand them the previous time(s).  Otherwise,
you would have made specific criticisms or embraced them.

As it is, you don't seem to interested in scientific studies.  You
seem to prefer nebulosity to replicability.

You're Welcome!

No, I was not.  I am being sincere.  You might want to pick up (I
think you can get them through your
local library by request) all of the volumes of Dr. William Rea's
Chemical Sensitivity books--there are a lot
case studies in there that go against the information that was in
these studies.  It will keep you busy for awhile
as you read all of the documentation, but I really do think you will
find those volumes a "good read."   After all,
he recommended to me acupuncture to me in the first place.

Yes, I was talking with you Andrew.  I understood them the first time,
but I do not agree with them.  See above--you will see the conflicting
information by a professional that has had years of experience
treating MCS patients successfully, and it will be different than the
information you get in those studies.  He has had YEARS of experience,
as opposed to those that do those studies.  I bet in a contest he
would win hands down for number of years in the field over any of
those
that did those studies.

I am interested in scientific studies.  Read all of the volumes in Dr.
Rea's books on Chemical Sensitivity.  You will get a different
prespective on "scientific studies," but it will be worth your time..

And again, I saw, "Thank you."
