I've never tried it, but there is a whole group of people that post
here that
need it, please post more information----they are way too full of
themselves!

The first question I would ask is how much heavy metal content does
it have? A lot of Mexican folk remedies have large amounts of
lead and mercury salts in them.

Ground linseed. Bulk laxitive, reasonably safe to use but
a bit on the harsh side. Some people are allergic to it.
Diabetics and people on anticoagulants need to be especially
careful regarding interactions.
