Interesting read--

And why?    "As far as science can tell, not a single person has died
from 9/11 fumes."

Who has been put in charge of "Science?"

Unbelievable.   Can you only imagine the firefighters and other
workers that were breathing this stuff day in and out?    Those poor
workers.

I watched a special...I think 60 minutes had a segment last week...

I totally and wholeheartedly commend and support the "first responders" ..ie
fire and rescue that dashed to the site of the WTC and put their lives at
risk to rescue those they could

however...and this is a big however....they willingly took this risk as it
was their job..naturally at the time of such a horrendous disaster...most
did not think of their own health and the consquences of breathing in the
"sh.t" that was flying thru the air..when two huge skyscrapers
dissolve...who knows what is in the air...but it cannot be good or healthy

it is beyond stupid to even deny that the first responders were at great
risk...

the biggest issue is WHY these guys..and gals...are now being put into a
position of NOT being treated and believed...etc....

rather than doing studies about what or whether their was junk in the air
that obviously was inhaled....simply watch over and over again...the REAL
time video footage of those towers collapsing...and THEN do the right thing
and provide whatever medical etc care that is necessary

yes..fire police rescue workers etc put their lives on the line as part of
their job....thank God for them

I have met several of the people who worked at Ground Zero during the
cleanup. One was a debris truck driver who worked 12 hrs a day seven
days a week for six month. This was in 2002.

He was never a smoker, and he could barely breath without his O2.

He was cyanotic, with clubbing of his fingers.

I suspect that he is dead now.

Some. Like they unit supervisor of one og the affected companies at the
WTC who worked overtime for six weeks, then came home, sat down to watch
the news before dinner and died of a heart attack.
