Famed cancer researcher Judah Folkman
has passed away at the age of 74.
He endured 20 years of criticism on his
theory regarding the blood supply
to tumor cells before being ULTIMATELY
VINDICATED, finally, in the mid
1990's after doing
research leading to
antiangiogenesis.
So great were the criticisms and disdain
accorded his ideas,
that all funding was eventually
denied him and he had to make
do with a grant from Monsanto
chemical.
It would seem that the "war on cancer"
does NOT TOLERATE new ideas
very well.

But it does accept them sometimes -- unlike certain alties, who will
never, ever change their minds no matter what the evidence.

The fact remains, that funding WAS DENIED a competent
and valued researcher. By sheer persistence, and some luck, he was
able to finish his research and provide something of benefit to
humanity. THAT is the point.

As he took money from a declared agent of Satan, how could he be
trusted?

It tolerates ideas with evidence quite well. As it did after 1997 when
he produced results and "angiogenesis inhibitors became the cancer
therapy du jour".
