It bothered me until I worked it out and I thought "you arrogant prick" ...it turned out he was "normal" with a very normal IQ of 109. I notice that lately this principle seems to be working with first names as well, which is how someone calling himself only "Martin" can be identified as being a specific Martin. The extreme of this is, of course, the notion that any two women who have the same number of children and who have at one time lived in Australia are the same woman (the Cathy-Rosalind Syndrome). And the interesting point being that the Clock in front of Kingoff Jewelers was destroyed a couple of years ago--didn't make the connection that you were part of THAT Kingoff family until he brought it up-give one for Timmie and Lassie!! Clocks are wonderful--there was a great book on the famous old clocks around the country out a few years ago--a friend of mine volunteered at Stanford and fixed the infamous "Clock Tower" until getting his Ph.D. he had to wind it every Monday like clockwork; The infamous "Kingoff Jewelers" clock was in that book---have you see it? It is too bad you guys cannot preserve the clock in some way, even if it didn't run, and keep the history of Wilmington's famous clock alive.
