Thanks for the heads up on this from Karen (ParfumGigi) and Sue and
Julie! We all know that Monsanto also pools "public relations" money
into the "junk science" vast campaign ... alone with enormous chemical
and pharmaceutical and tobacco funders.

WASHINGTON - Agricultural products maker Monsanto Co. paid the
Bockorny Group $220,000 in the first half of 2007 to lobby the federal
government, according to a disclosure form.
The firm lobbied on legislation affecting manufacture of agricultural
products, pesticide issues, patent reform, taxes and others, according
to the form posted online Thursday by the Senate's public records
office.
In addition to Congress, the firm lobbied several departments,
including Agriculture, Commerce, the Environmental Protection Agency,
the Food and Drug Administration and others.
Michaela Sims, who was legislative counsel for Sen. Ben Nelson,
D-Neb., and Todd Thorpe, the former chief of staff for Rep. Chris
Cannon, R-Utah., are among those registered to lobby on behalf of the
St. Louis-based company.
Under a federal law enacted in 1995, lobbyists are required to
disclose activities that could influence members of the executive and
legislative branches. They must register with Congress within 45 days
of being hired or engaging in lobbying.

Sounds like Ilena has a case of sour grapes. Yup, its just plain
envy.
How many centuries would it take Ilena & Tim B to make that kind of
money?
