I wonder if countries with socialized medicine have big medical
charities, The money collected by charities in the USA goes mostly for
avertising telling everyone to go to doctors often to get tested for
everything, easy money and a business promotion for the medical
industry, and medical research on unvalued animals.

A nearby special school for children with special needs received a large
gift from one of the drug manufacturers. The money will go to the
building of a swimming facility for handicapped children and adults.
