The Health Freedom Protection Act (HR4282)

This is a call for those who support free access to nutritional
products and information to contact your representatives, by letter or
fax, and support The Health Freedom Protection Act, HR4282.

Introduced on November 9, 2005 by The Coalition to End FDA and FTC
Censorship (presided by Jonathan Emord), this legislation, if passed,
will restrict FDA from censorship of nutrient-disease treatment
information. (Currently, the FDA is threatening cherry growers with
legal  action if they persist in citing scientific data on their
websites discussing the health benefits of cherries.  This has got to
stop.)  The Coalition consists of 15 members of Congress, 99 dietary
supplement companies, public interest groups and supplement
distributors.  It is time to end the FDA's corrupt and pharma-coddling
stranglehold on the American public.  Don't let those who persecuted
David Graham for alerting the public about the dangers of Vioxx
continue to profit at the expense of public health.
