As a 100% raw foodist for about 4 years I'm always looking to improve.  I just started mono eating.
It involves eating only one food at a meal.  One food being a natural, unprocessed, raw food as in a
fruit or vegetable, nuts, seeds or sprouts.  I've noticed several very positive reactions in my
body.  I was wondering about the experiences of others.

Are you taking supplements that contain Vitamin B 12?

No.  Though I will get my doctor to check for deficiencies on my checkup.
I realize it can be a problem.  Are there no non-animal sources of B12?
Any sea vegetables, any sprouts?  If there isn't, it makes the vegan choice
look somewhat flawed.

Supplements are just fine for B12; the stuff is made by bacteria, so
vegans can retain their moral superiority.

Unless they can't absorb it maybe? Apparently my local hospital no
longer does the part of the Schilling test where intrinsic factor is
administered cause they can't get the stuff anymore.

Sorry, I wasn't considering people with absorption problems, just your
average citizen.
