I totally agree, this is one beautifully made movie. Not to mention the guy
who plays Che is hot, hot, hot. :-)

So hot that I rented another movie that he was in by Pedro Almodavar
just to see him again. I didn't care for the Almodovar movie but I
recommend the Motorcycle Diaries too. I like the actor who played his
buddy too.

Motorcycle Diaries was a beautiful movie, the kind you don't leave your
seat and stop when you need to use the bathroom.  "Dark Water", with
Jennifer Connelly, is directed by the same director, Brazilian-born
Walter Salles.  He does the best with the material, and I'm sure he'll
get better projects in the future.

I liked "Mr. and Mrs. Smith."  It has a kind of "War of the Roses" spin
to it!. . .I think it was more like marriage than most folks would like
to admit;-)

I watched it on DVD ... over several days ... often getting lost in the
landscapes and the faces of those exquisite people ...

To hear the various Spanish dialects and accents was wonderful to me
too ...

Thanks for this referral ... I'll check it out.

It is a great film, but Walmart must not think so because it was on sale
last week for a little more than five bucks! They have no intelligence
there...or taste.

"earthage2002" ... thanks for the tips of Walter Salles ... here's
more on him.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0758574/

Last nite I watched over and over the "Making of 'Motorcycle Diaries'
... this movie has gotten into me more than most anything I've seen
for a long time.

What is funny as can be ...
I've already gotten 'flak' from a corporate PR flack for loving this
film ...

The flack seemed to believe he was the Judge and Jury on Ernesto
Guervara's short and monumental life ... and immediately started
defaming him.

Ernesto did finish his MD after their journey ... and the rest is who
is writing the history ...

I recommend this movie to everyone.
