Okay, no problem and no secret.   Many regular newsgroup readers are
familiar with my layman's theory on the cause of crohns and UC as I have
written it many times and had a website put by the
alt.support.crohns-colitis   newsgroup.    The website has been archived
however.    The problem of crohns remains however, and is increasing and
shows no sign of abating.     Whether believed or not, i would be happy if
everyone, or at least, those that need to know would know and that includes
the world.    It is being researched in many countries and the solution is
here but too strange to be accepted.   Many people do accept it however, and
they DO benefit.   It all depends on how quickly they can relate to the
theory.
Children with IBS are some of the most pititful and need to have comfort and
normalcy from this manmade illness.
Here is the theory in essence.
Crohns and UC are caused by the use of stimulants and transmitted by one
person to another by a mind/body connection literally.     One person using
a stimulant can unknowingly cause a friend or member of family to develop
crohns or UC and this in spite of distance.   They can be in the same  room
or miles apart, the damage continues merely by the mind.   Stimulants are
marijuana, cocaine, anti-depressants, anxiety drugs, such as Xanax, Buspar,
depakote, Flexeril (has a stimulant ingredient), natural herbs that have
natural stimulants, kava kava, st johns wort, SAM-E, and the list goes on
and on.    Identifying the person on the stimulant and asking them to cease
seldom works, as they cannot understand why what one person ingests can harm
another.   There is no answer to that for now, it is illogical and
unscientific, but years of observation have shown me it is true and anyone
can prove it for theirself.    The other option if the person will not cease
the drug, is to disconnect from the relationship and time will sever the
mind connection, before normalcy can take place.   These are not judgments,
just what takes place.  That is difficult too, as it is said, "we need
friends and family"  Of course, in that case the problem remains.    But for
children, it is usually the mother or caretaker that is on the med  (usually
anti-derpessants)  and most will give up the drug after some hesitancy
because it is difficult to watch a child suffer.
This will revolutionize the pharmaceutical cos. affirmation that drugs are
the answer to all depression, crohns, etc.   While the drugs ARE helpful in
alleviating depession and crohns, they may not be necessary if the use of
the drugs are lessened in general.  Actually, the use of tranquillizers such
as Valium and Ativan, do no harm and can replace the anti-depressants and NO
ONE will suffer the consequences of stimulants where the med can be changed
to non-stimulants.  But a distinction must be made as to what is a
stimulant, as many are thought to be non-harmful and are not.
Canada has found that babies born to mothers  on anti-depressants who were
taking anti-depressants in the last three months of pregnancy were born with
a myriad of problems and need to be hospitalized.   If the anti-depressant
would be continued, the problems would continue  and in Chicago, the John
Stroger hospital has babies  born with rumination.  Their mothersare usually
on a recreational drug.   They are removed from mothers care and given to a
surrogate for care, and the rumination problem is solved.
If you want to help people and most people do, this is the avenue for crohns
and UC, as strangely unbelievable as it may seem.    I am not capable of a
study, nor do I have the means.    But we all have an interest in solving
this very mysterious manner of  becoming ill and needing the strongest of
meds, sometimes surgery, and even death.    .
I only ask that everyone look at this with an open mind, as it could mean
their loved one's health.
On crohns colitis newsgroup (alt.support.crohns-colitis) on thread
"Prednisone effects on the body" is a post from QQQ@webtv.net which
emphasizes the need for solution.   four persons in one family have crohns.
Completely unacceptable.   I have replied to that  post, and it will also
show the intense criticism received.
I accept any and all comments.   I have no question as to the validity of
this theory, seen it and experienced it over and over and over.
