For example, the case against New York City family practice physician Dr. Warren Levin, which was completely unfounded and resulted in the charges against him being dropped after twenty years of harassment, was said to have cost taxpayers over one million dollars. Which of us, as consumers, would choose to spend more than a million dollars of our money persecuting an innocent physician for more than fifteen years -simply because he got his patients well in most cases without using drugs or surgery?
