Apparently this stuff can make you sick, but I'm willing to give this a go.

Trying this to attempt cure my infection  :-
150mg initial dose of zinc gluconate.
10g of ascorbic acid powder (in water) every hour.
So far 2 doses of ascorbate, symptoms still there - burning up feeling
lousy.

God Bless you, Anth,  there is research showing zinc to be helpful.

So is vit C and A.

Thanks for asking. It went well. To save time, due to the fact, I have been
over doing, I'll post what I posted there.

Subject: Re: Anyone Observing the Holiday

Thank God, my neurosurgeon celebrated it, by doing a wonder job of surgery on
me.

Operated on 3 degenerated disks in my neck. On the MRI it showed the spurs on
the outside, when he went inside one to replace the cushioning (as I call it)
he found a huge spur inside it. I have been in unbelievable pain, especially
when it settled on my nerves.

As an aside, the dentists here might want to know, I had a couple of teeth
pulled that were somehow connected with these nerves, no cavities, just black
at the gum line, at any rate terrible pressure on my entire face jaws and neck.
At the time I had them extracted the MRI results weren't in. The pain shot
straight to the protruded disks, when my surgeon began to tell me the results,
I said, let me guess exactly where they are. I was right on the money.

Feeling much better, but still not home free as the one in front of the other
two, is doing the same, plan to get it out next week.

I would like to say at this time, I had the teeth cleaned up under the gum on
the other side of my mouth several years ago, I believe this was a much needed
procedure.

I went to the chronic pain center and got several epidurals, while waiting to
get in to see the surgeon, they didn't help. Ended up in the ER several times,
when I could stand the pain no longer.

I would hope that even Joel would not make fun of this post, the pain has been
unreal.

It is amazing that one can have seroius surgery one day and be home the next,
and with the new technology, no stitches, in my rather long scar.

Also calling Diamond Headache clinic as this may have been the cause of my long
history of headaches. They often do MRI's of the head, but not the neck, this
info., if they still are not doing it, may help someone.

I still have a vry sore throat from surgrery, as everything was moved aside to
allow surgeon to go through the front and perform the surgery on the back of
the neck. Am sending hubby to find lozenges with zinc.

Thanks Anth.

Notice the white marks on the finger nails is a sign of zinc deficiency.

You are wasting your time by inducing Explosive Diarrhea.  You'll be better
served by having a bowl of chicken soup and going to bed.
