DRUGS CAUSE IMMUNE SUPPRESSION

"This research suggests a link between cocaine use and compromised immune
response and could help explain the high incidence of infectious disease
among drug abusers," observes Dr. Steven Grant of NIDA's Division of
Treatment Research and Development.

He makes the brilliant statement, "It reminds us that the health
consequences of drug abuse reach far beyond disruption of the brain
systems involved in abuse and addiction."

Oh, come on, only 'HIV' infection causes the immune system to go
haywire...

Halpern, J.H., et al. Diminished interleukin-6 response to proinflammatory
challenge in men and women after intravenous cocaine administration.
Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism 88(3):1188-1193, 2003.

oh--and this. Well, certain drugs can make one more susceptible to
becoming infected and can worsen the consequences of an infection once
it is established. They don't cause AIDS. There is no evidence that
they do. But drugs, like alcohol, one of the most deadly, can impair
judgment also, resulting in sex without condoms, like Paul advocates.
They also lead to trading drugs for sex in some cases. These
environmental or psychosocial issues added in to the biology of
increased susceptibility make for a heady mix of increased likelihood
for HIV to be transmitted, among other sexually transmitted
infections.

Duh. Get drunk, get high, feel not so good, f.ck unsafe, maybe get
HIV. If with HIV, T cells eventually will drop. People get sick, even
much later when they are not doing drugs.

Like David Pasquarelli. Who bought your codswallop and died. Of AIDS.
Because his CD4 count dropped toward zero. Not because of drugs. Or a
2 week stay in jail. He died because he believed these moronic lies
you repeat ad nauseam.

So Mr. Carter. Immune suppression (which is all that 'AIDS' is) did not
exist before HIV?

Nothing causes immune suppression (according to you) but 'HIV'?

Is this really the utter nonsense you are expecting us to believe?

You really are a total idiot.

Nope. Except in some rare cases of idiopathic lymphopenia, no, AIDS
did not exist. And you are utterly, demostrably wrong to say all AIDS
is is immune suppression. This is a vague and inaccurate depiction of
AIDS.

>Nothing causes immune suppression (according to you) but 'HIV'?

That is not what I said.

Sounded like it to me.
