Sounds like a lot of people who started HAART forgot to also do lots of anabolic steriods and pump up in the gym at that same time. http://medibolics.com/ It's interesting that you mention anabolic steroids; there is another article (http://www.thebody.com/confs/aids2004/pierone1.html) about using low dose corticosteroid which can delay the use of HAART and stablizes CD4 counts. Hmm...I have a friend, HIV+ and with sarcoidosis, who has used low dose corticosteroid therapy for years--and he still is not on ARV. He has long wondered about this association.
