You can't spell "hivemind" without "hiv".  Coincidence?!  I
think not.

HIV obviously causes lots of foreign aids, but that there is
a conspiracy obviously isn't in question.  Why do you think
black helicopters are black?

Inside a stomach it's too dark to conspire.

Tamara begs to differ.

----- Begin Quote -----

People who deny that the HIV virus causes AIDS continue to persist in
their beliefs despite overwhelming scientific evidence to the
contrary, nurtured by the broad reach of the Internet and
cherry-picked scientific claims, AIDS authorities said Monday (Oct.
19).

----- End Quote -----

What overwhelming evidence is that?

The evidence produced by liar, thief and Nobel Prize looser Robert
Gallo, perhaps?

There isn't any evidence that HIV causes AIDS, therefore the isn't any
evidence that HIV exists.

None of the terrible predictions about HIVAIDS have come true.  At the
beginning of the, so called, epidemic people diagnosed with HIV
progressed rapidly to AIDS and premature death.  Since then, prospects
for HIVers--even those who don't religiously take HIV
wonder-drugs--have got better and better.  What changed?

----- Begin Quote -----

Denialism may have done its most damage in South Africa during the
tenure of President Thabo Mbeki. Mbeki, who endorsed denialist
beliefs, delayed the beginning of large-scale AIDS drug treatment,
which allowed the pandemic to grow unchecked.

----- End Quote -----

Anyone who reads the press or listens to doom and gloom from HIV
enablers could be forgiven for thinking that HIVAIDS was a massive
problem in South Africa.  The truth is somewhat different.  The
headline figure for those infected with HIV is completely made up. And
even AIDS isn't South Africa's biggest killer... far from it. Earlier
I wrote:

"There is an unfounded perception that HIVAIDS is the biggest killer
in Africa.

Even in South Africa, which is hardest hit by the HIVAIDS pandemic,
the figures don't add up.  Look, for example, at its mortality
statistics for 2006, see
<http://www.polity.org.za/article/mortality-and-causes-of-death-in-south-africa-2
006-findings-from-death-notification-october-2008-2008-10-24
>.

From them we learn that HIV was the underlying cause of 14,783 (2.4%)
deaths that year.  And during the same period 52,614 deaths (8.7%)
were defined as "non-natural causes:" murders, traffic accidents,
etc."

The whole pro-HIVAIDS argument has been talked up by people with a
vested interested in it.
