I KNOW HIM FROM APPROXIMATELY 2002 to 2008 (now and still know him).
When I visited my neuro-psychiatrist Dr Sanjay PHADKE in pUNE, who
knows all about psychiatric medicines I would pay him Rs 500 as fees.
Dr Sanjay Phadke would advise / suggest I meet Dr Bhavasar to whom I
would embarassedly and grudgingly pay Rs 500.

When I first met him out of fear I gave him gifts (no, he did not give
them back and he asked me to take me for food and I paid for the food
everywhere with him and his wife) ------ BUT NOT ONCE DID HE ASK ME
FOR MONEY.

I paid him Rs 15,000 once, my family called the caretaker-servant and
said get the money back.  I phoned Dr Bhavasar and told him --- my
family wants the money back.  The next day he said come to Hotel
Sahara (Pune, India) I was in Pune at that time and said --- you were
about to be late, I was about to go ---- here you can have your Rs
15,000 back and I will take only 3 of the Rs 500 notes (Rs 1,500).

I have paid him NOT MORE THAN RUPEES 500 A MONTH -------- so in 6
years I have paid him
6 * 12 * 500 (slightly less actually sometimes I would not meet him
for 2- 3 months at a stretch).
so that comes to 72 * 500 + 1,500 max that is 37,500 that is less than
$1,000 US ---- and what he has done for me is :: (thru long-distance
but I would be very happy when I met him and my new friends in Pune)

1. Prevented my knees from paining lots of time ----------- now what
is the cost of an artificial knee joint.
2. Prevented my hip joint (pained in childhood too) from paining
----------- what is the cost of an artificial hip joint perhaps.
3. prevented me from getting spectacles.
4. showed me miracles ------- in his house and else where.
5. prevented me from ring-worm by saying "toomhari chaadi barabar
nahin hain" and I changed to lungot / kacha / cotton suspenders from
Mumbadevi temple to be replaced later with cotton chaddis (Rs 35 each)
from MUMBADEVI TEMPLE>
6. Prevented my hernia (old operation scar from getting worse) by
saying walk with feet parallel to one another.
7. Only once REFUSING TO TALK TO ME FOR THREE MONTHS when I told him
"there is no god".  Then much later I told him, even if you have shown
me miracles and I have seen miracles there is no proof that there is a
god but not astronauts/superior technology from outer space ----- and
to that he agreed.  But read on Einstein's universal frame of
reference.
8. Only getting angry with me when I told taxi-wallahs (cab-drivers)
that he is not a black-magician or hinting he has magic ---- and
saying what are you telling them.  I kept on sending people to him
with every taxi drive.
9. So what do you want me to advertise ----------------- artificial
knees.
