I've previously speculated that I must have a superman immune system
because I've been HIV+ for over thirteen years without suffering any
symptoms associated with the virus.

It appears that someone else has had a similar idea.

----- Begin Quote -----

Like most comic books, this one features superheroes who gain super
abilities through some act of misfortune. But in this case, that
misfortune is HIV. The nine heroes [...] learn they have become
HIV-positive ... either through unsafe sex, syringes, or from their
mothers at birth. Robert Walker created the comic, "O+Men."

[...]

Walker neither disdains his heroes nor glamorizes them.

Walker goes on to say: "What I did was create the super-heroes, and
they could be fabulous and amazing, but also show them the real life,
have them in real life situations of a person who has HIV."

----- End Quote -----

Real life situations?  Shooting up and fagot sex, perhaps? LOL

You misspelled 'faggot.'

Looks like I'm on to a winner if spelling and grammatical errors are
the only problems people can find with what I post here. :)

Things have certainly changed since the beginning of last year when I
was described as a lying, deluded Nazi sympathiser.  Perhaps all that
"back to basics" guff has filtered down to the foot soldiers.

Fagot or faggot: it's a bit of a moot point.  Fagot is the US spelling
of faggot, however as I'm English I should probably use the English
spelling.  My paper dictionary (yes, I have one!) specifically defines
faggot, but not fagot, as "a male homosexual."  However,
<http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/fagot> defines fagot as an
"offensive term for an openly homosexual man," while
<http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/fagot> opts for "(slang, chiefly US) A
(male) homosexual."
