I've just finished watching a documentary called The Great Global Warming Swindle, which was produced for one of the UK's TV channels. The programme argues that global warming is a natural phenomenon and not caused by 'man.' I've heard the argument put forward several times before and it is quite persuasive. What's interesting about it is the parallels with the HIV=AIDS=Death theory: scientists who disagree with the global warming theory are seen as kooks, are unable to obtain funding to investigate alternatives, and one mentions being categorised as a holocaust denier. Another parallel is that of the 'green' lobby, the main force behind pushing the global warming theory, and gay groups who push HIV=AIDS=Death. And in both cases Africa is the biggest loser. LOL. The old flat earth argument. That's almost as lame as accusing everyone who doesn't agree with you of being a Nazi. I appreciate why you and others need to bring up these comparisons to support your weak and failing arguments, however there have been many occasions when "orthodoxy" and "scientific consensus" has got things wrong. Blindly following the rest of the sheep doesn't always lead to the correct answer.
