Someone's written to the editor of soc.support.aids-hiv+ and had their
letter published!

>Started on Combivir/Sustiva. Stopped it because I was seriously sick,
>generalized misery, enlarged liver (tests normal), and felt sure it was the
>AZT in it. Started Truvada/Sustiva, did well with it, and switched to
>Atripla now, which is the same combination of drugs that Truvada/Sustiva is,
>but in 1 single pill.

>I am lucky. On meds, my CD4 is over 1,000, and my VL is non-detectable. Yet,
>I get sick very easily. Lungs and  skin especially. Non-PCP pneumonias,
>bronchitis, etc., and 4 cases of severe cellulitus, each in a different
>location, and each ultimately forcing me into the hospital for IV
>antibiotics.

"I am lucky."  LOL.  That's not luck!

I think I'll give the wonder drugs a miss.

Of course you will. Your choice.

Best of luck with a very stupid choice but yours to make.

My "stupid choice" has prevented me from being affected by any of the
problems you conveniently snipped.

Many people do have side effects, no question.

People that refuse that risk run the much BIGGER and more horrific
risk of AIDS. These make 90% of the side effects pale by comparison.

Unless of course the AIDS-related infection, caused by HIV, simply
kills you first.

Which has a very high probability of happening.

And that's just reality.

You can pretend and believe whatever psychotic crap you want. But I
have watched too many die.

It will make it all that much easier when it is my turn to die.

But if you, with your delusion, sway anyone to buy your sh.t? Bad
karma, dear. Whatever that means, if anything.
