A post by FShaw dated Wed, Dec 24 1997 reveals
George Mary Carter dodging the FDA bullet (as
Carter STILL denies his involvement - his powers
of reason as so Clinton-esque):

"No relation"?  A disingenuous denial that Carter
knows to be false. One of Carter's favorite sleazy
tricks is to lie through his teeth by using
terms to structure his denials and lies, such
as "no relation". The sickness here is that Carter
will claim that his definition is different than
everyone else's. (This is how pathological liars
attempt to manipulate and cover their lies -- they
respond to one of their prior lies with a denial,
when the proof is then provided that proves their
lie, they then employ sleazy tricks, such as
redefining terms and other obvious maneuvers.

When I prove Carter's lie, he will simply brush off
the evidence of his ethical lapses, lies and
payoffs In this case, experience has shown that
Carter can be expected to claim that "relation"
means "works for" or "paid by". That, of course,
is NOT the meaning of "relation", which Oxford
defines as "what one person or thing has to do
with another".

Based on the definition Carter's statement:

"I have no relation with Health Connections."

He says he has nothing to do with Health Connections.
This is a patently false statement. deliberate and
intentional lie to obscure Carter's filthy business scams,
dirty deals and pharmaceutical meal tickets.

FACTS:

1. Carter is a DAAIR employee who claims to be
the Director of the alternative treatment
department -- SPV-30 falls into this category
  as an herbal treatment.

2. Carter sells SPV-30 for DAAIR and has promoted
it on the internet newsgroups for years.

3. DAAIR was the go-between for Carter's Arkopharma
european vacation (air travel, 3 day accomodations,
etc. -- the story seems to change in every post).

4. Carter produces "information" about SPV-30 for
public consumption. This information has been
supplied to Health Connections for distribution
(as stated in the excerpted post below).

5. DAAIR, Carter's employer, obtains its SPV-30 from
the exclusive U.S. distributor, the Health
  Connection.

If this doesn't suggest a "relation with Health Connections",
then you are not reading this, the earth is flat and
the sun rises in the west.

Let's look at the facts as they were made public ...

  BACKGROUND INFORMATION ON SPV-30

"A few days ago, the Food and Drug Administration
instructed The Health Connection, Ltd., the U.S. distributor
of SPV-30, to suspend all sales and distribution of SPV-30.
The FDA claims that SPV-30, an all natural preparation of
the boxwood evergreen, is a drug and may not be marketed
without an approved New Drug Application (NDA).  Under the
advice of counsel, The Health Connection, Ltd., is complying
with this order. Limited quantities of SPV-30 remain available
through not-for-profit buyers' clubs and organizations."

"The Health Connection, Ltd. was instrumental in
supplying SPV-30 for the informal study and to buyer's
   clubs for resale..."

"The Health Connection, Ltd. did not create data for
marketing materials.  They provided data and
information supplied by Arkopharma, the French and U.S.
   studies, and the U.S. buyer's clubs ..."

Here's another very revealing post that places George Carter
and his boss at DAAIR, Fred Bingham in negotiations FOR THE
SUPPORT AND BENEFIT OF the Health Connection Ltd. NOTE
THAT CARTER WAS NOT DESIGNATED AS A DAAIR EMPLOYEE --
RATHER, THE SUBTERFUGE OF CARTER "THE ACTIVIST" WAS A
MISREPRESENTATION MADE TO THE FDA AS REVEALED IN

On Friday, the following individuals met with

regarding the issue of SPV-30 and the FDA ruling to
remove it from the market a few weeks ago.

Jonathon Emord, esq, - attorney for The Health Connection
Ben Cohen      - President of The Health Connection,
                   U.S. distributor of SPV-30
David Stokes   - Founder of Boston Buyers Club
                 - SPV-30 informal study coordinator
Fred Bingham   - Founder of DAAIR - NYC buyers club
George Carter  - member of ACT UP NY
Fred Schaich   - Founder of Int'l Foundation of Alt Research on AIDS
Dan McGlinchy  - Legislative aid for Barney Frank

"George Carter  - member of ACT UP NY"? Where's the
George M. Carter that is a Director at DAAIR???

In conclusion, Carter's fast-and-loose treatment of the
truth has sustained his lies, scams, deceptions and
dirty deals that have harmed people who are struggling
to survive. Carter is a pathological liar who never
considers the harm he has done to others. He doesn't
care because he lacks a conscience.

"Honestly" is a word that holds no meaning for Carter
the pathological liar.

And all these years later, you're still spreading the same libel and
lies.

Pattern. Practice.

It may be worse for Mr. Shaw that OTHERS are spreading these
demonstrable lies and smearing.

Your words. Your actions. Your lies.

Stop libeling yourself.
