Bourassa said he was not worried about getting HPV or about the
health risks attached to it, because he practices safe monogamous
sex.
"I get blood drawn once a month, and that is scanned," he said.
"And I'm selective about who I sleep with."
University of Massachusetts-Amherst senior Melissa Gagnon said
she is worried that if she acquired HPV, it would not be caught.
"I am a little concerned about it, considering there aren't
necessarily symptoms if you do have it," she said.
Gagnon said she is very careful about her sex life and
encouraged other women to do the same.
"I only have monogamous relationships," she said, adding that
the only real way to protect yourself is
to be honest with your partner and make sure he is not infected.

Questions to ask people making similar statements to those
quoted in the article
.
If you don't even use the correct word... SAFER
how do you expect to be really practicing so called safer sex?...
.
Why do you get tested monthly?...
.
Would a ~monogamous~ relationship really be not having had any
sexual contact whatsoever in any way, not even a tiny exception,
before you meet somebody and have sex only with that person
until the death of that person or until you die or both?
.
With the plural, would the phrase ~monogamous relationships~
be contradictory?... an oxymoron, a paradox?
.
How do you know there's no overlapping between relationships
for either you or your partner?...

The media is full of these mixed messages.
Scarlett Johanson's says she gets an HIV test 6 monthly, implying that
those who don't are behaving dangerously and irresponsibly. (I think
that having sexual relationships where it is deemed necessary to get
tested every 6 months is in itself irresponsible).
A "monogamous relationship"....... how does she know her partner is
equally monogamous?
If anyone is worried about HPV they should get Gardasil and use condoms.

If she knew, why all the testing? Is that your question?
> If anyone is worried about HPV they should get Gardasil and use condoms.
If anyone is that worried, get out of that relationship, get tested and move on.

Death, have YOU been tested for HIV?
Are you celibate? (2nd time asked - Death refused to answer previously)
